11 Gyms and Fitness Instructors Who Went Digital During the Coronavirus Pandemic

The gym and your favorite fitness studio are closed and you’re starting to get cabin fever. While this may not be ideal, there are plenty of fitness instructors who have gone digital during the coronavirus pandemic. So it’s time to roll out that yoga mat, get those weights in order and get moving in the comfort of your own home! 

 

1. Rumble

A high-intensity strength and boxing-focused workout with some entertainment from this fit couple in NYC! Classes can be streamed online as well as on Instagram Live.

 

2. Barry’s Bootcamp Instructors 

Barry’s has been uploading content on Instagram Live courtesy of their instructors from various locations across the United States. Enjoy these total-body workouts from their living room to yours. 

 

3. CorePower Yoga

CorePower is offering videos from their Yoga On Demand program for free. It’s a refreshing and challenging workout that we all need in moments of uncertainty and stress. Remember to relax and breathe as you go through these 60-minute sessions. 

 

4. Orangetheory Fitness

Get active and use what you have to get your blood pumping. These at-home workouts are available on Amazon and Apple for you to peruse. @orangetheorylondon will also be providing some Instagram Live workouts at specific times, too.  

 

5. Dancebody

Get your dancing shoes on and uplift your mood with these fun-filled home workouts through their own streaming app available on multiple devices. 

 

6. Creative Core

Book a spot in one of her MAT in the MADness sessions on Zoom for ONLY $7. While it may not be the same as going to the studio, Kristen will be guiding you from beginning to end. 

 

7. Planet Fitness Home Work-Ins

Led by @ericafitlove from Biggest Loser, Planet Fitness is offering 20-minute sessions to keep you in shape. 

 

8. ClassPass 

With a membership, one has access to a variety of online workouts ranging from HIIT to barre since all its partnered studios are closed. If you already have a ClassPass, you have no excuse not to partake in these virtual workouts.

 

9. Peloton

Peloton is offering a free 90-day trial of their home workouts. A great opportunity to check out their routines and offerings since we have nowhere else to go. 

 

10. Hip-Hop Flows at Y7 Studio

Don’t miss their hip-hop flows on Wednesdays and Sundays on Instagram Live! A great way to participate and get motivated to learn Vinyasa yoga. Remember, donations are welcomed!

 

11. Tone it Up 

These workouts led by Karena Dawn and Katrina Scott have always been online but this is the perfect opportunity to truly take advantage of any of their guided workouts including the Love Your Body and Summer 2019 YouTube series.
