Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas was originally scheduled for May 15-17 but will now take place on October 2-4. Even October seems hopeful for a 3-day event that hosted 450,000 attendees last year. To keep everyone home, entertained, and raise money to help fight COVID-19, many entertainment companies and artists have organized virtual festivals. Here’s the full list of virtual music festivals you can attend without leaving the house: May Bas3 Camp (May 7 – 9) Dreamstate (May 8) Defected Virtual Festival 5.0 (May 8) Get Wack! (May 8) 1001 Tracklists Virtual Festival 2.0 (May 8 – 10) FreezeFest (May 9) Portal Robinson’s Secret Sky Music Festival (May 9) Global Digital Dance Festival (May 9, 10) – Register to win prizes! EDC Virtual Rave-A-Thon (May 15 – 17) World Club Dome Roof Sessions – (May 9, 16, 23, 30) SiriusXM’s Virtual DisDance Festival (May 22 – 24) Liverpool Digital Music Festival (May 23) Oxygen Part 2 (May 23) IDGAFOS Weekend Livestream (May 23 – 25) Movement at Home (May 23 – 25) Rinse: Lockdown Live (May 25) Join the Party Tomorrow, May 8th is the last day to submit a 30-minute set to be played during the Virtual EDC Las Vegas Rave-A-Thon. If you are a DJ or know a DJ, you can apply to play at the Liverpool Digital Music Festival by May 15th. Artists are also playing live sets on their personal channels on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch. Don’t forget to check the timezones for each event! Maybe virtual festivals will become a regular occasion even when things calm down. You get to stay in the comfort of your home, food, and drinks won’t cost you $50 each, and you don’t have to deal with extremely gross porta-potties.
