Though the festival is over, I’m still reliving every special moment through fancams, Instagram, YouTube, and reminiscing with other BLINKS. When I initially saw the lineup for Coachella, I was overjoyed to see that BLACKPINK was one of the headliners for 2019. This had particular significance because BLACKPINK is the first all-female K-pop group to perform at Coachella. History has been made. And best of all, I enjoyed the show from the comfort of my living room couch thanks to it being live streamed on YouTube! Today, BLACKPINK has over 5 billion views on YouTube and has broken several records including their EP ‘Kill This Love’ becoming the fastest K-pop girl group music video to hit 20 million views.
